The learning process does not remain restricted only to the classrooms; it is further synergised by \u2018hands-on\u2019 experience in the well-equipped labs. These labs provide requisite hands-on experience which is the heart of teaching science. Science teachers plan various demonstrations and experiments to ignite the curiosity and inculcate a scientific temperament in the students.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The school feels proud that it has been selected by Niti Aayog, Govt. of India to establish \u2018Atal Tinkering Laboratory\u2019 under the Atal Innovation Mission.<\/p>\n

ATL fosters curiosity, creativity and imagination\u00a0in young minds. The lab activities are designed to spur the spark of creativity, and go beyond regular curriculum and text book learning. Young children get a chance to work with tools and equipment to understand the concepts of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).<\/p>\n

In sync with the modern digital world of today the school has two well-furnished computer cum IT labs. Computers of the latest configuration and Multimedia facilities aid the computer training and education that are a part of the school syllabus right from the Foundational Stage. Latest software and net connectivity is available for ready use of students and teachers.<\/p>\n

Library<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

Our School has a well-furnished Library, which acts as a Centre of academic and intellectual development for staff and students. We have a rich collection of over 10000 different types of books, magazines, and encyclopedias.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Audio Visual Room<\/h2>\n

The Audio Visual Room is equipped with a television, tape-recorder, over-head projector, computer and LCD projector. These audio-visual aids help make teaching more effective, interesting and learning a multi-sensory process for students. Teachers use these to deliver lessons and screen educational films.<\/p>\n

Skills For Growing<\/h2>\n

Lions Quest Skills for Growing is a comprehensive positive youth development program for early learners through grade 5. The program unites parents, teachers, and community members to work toward a shared goal: helping children grow into healthy, capable, and productive young people.<\/p>\n

Skills For Adolescence<\/h2>\n

Lions Quest Skills for Adolescence is a comprehensive life skills and prevention program for middle school youth that builds important social and emotional competencies by promoting self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, responsible decision making and service-learning.<\/p>\n

Tod-Fod-Jod<\/h2>\n

Tod-Fod-Jod is an initiative of the Vadodara Innovation Council,\u00a0where kids get to de-construct everyday products. Tod-Fod-Jod helps them to figure out how these products are designed and\u00a0how they work, connecting multi-disciplinary\u00a0concepts they learn from textbooks to real life applications. They may re-construct\/repair them or re-purpose them to create something completely different.<\/p>\n

Safety and Security of the Students<\/h2>\n

Utmost care has been taken for the safety of students in the school campus. Alert monitoring is in place with the security guards manning the campus 24 x 7 and round the clock surveillance by the cameras installed at every nook and corner. The fire- fighting systems installed at crucial locations are yet another indicator of our strong commitment to safety and security.<\/p>\n

BHSDE Alumni<\/h2>\n

We have an active Alumni Club. The alumni are invited on many occasions to participate and to guide and motivate the existing students.<\/p>\n

Parents as Partners in Education<\/h2>\n

Parent-teacher meetings<\/strong>\u00a0are organized regularly for all the students from Sneh to Std. 10 to discuss the child\u2019s academic and non-academic progress at school.<\/p>\n

Mother\u2019s Workshop<\/strong>\u00a0is a platform for effective Parent-Educator Partnership which has also been strongly promoted in NEP 2020.<\/p>\n

An hour\u2019s workshop is separately held for each class of Foundational Stage, every month. Here the Educators share with the mothers the concepts and methodologies to be covered in the next month. This helps the School and the Parent to work in tandem. In addition to Academics, areas like Child Development, Handling Emotions, Health & Nutrition etc. are also explored by calling parenting experts and doctors.<\/p>\n

Opportunities are also given to the parents to participate and help in the school functions and activities.<\/p>\n

Learning Resource Centre(LRC)<\/h2>\n

The purpose of LRC is to advance the experience of teachers and students. Capacity building programs are organized on an ongoing basis. These programs include interesting activities, workshops, trainings and short term courses. This helps in enriching the teachers and students and in developing and strengthening the skills, instincts and abilities that organizations and communities need to survive, adapt, and thrive in a fast-changing world.<\/p>\n
