Baroda High School Danteshwar English Medium proudly participated in the plastic collection drive, a collaborative effort between Vadodara Marathon, Socleen, and Bharat Soka Gakkai (BSG). This initiative aimed to promote sustainability and reduce plastic waste.

Guest Visit and Guidance
We were honored to have Dr. Sangita Patel from SOCLEEN and Smita Andhare ma’am from BSG. They guided our students on the importance of proper waste segregation and disposal.

Collection and Segregation Efforts
Our coordinator, Ms. Kinjal Machhi organised the collection and segregation of various types of plastic waste, including:

• Plastic bottles
• Boxes
• Containers
• Single-use plastic packaging materials

Handover of Collected Plastic Waste
We successfully collected and handed over 22 kg of plastic waste to Eco-Vision on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. This initiative not only contributed to a cleaner environment but also instilled a sense of responsibility among our students.
