The day was also celebrated as ‘Matru Pitru diwas’ to reaffirm respect towards the parents.The students seeked the blessings of their parents by performing ‘aarti’ and offering flowers and tilak.The students also showed their love towards the ‘aunties’ (support staff), who take care and help them in the school.
