World Environment Day 2026 Celebration by Vadodara Marathon SDG Club

The Vadodara Marathon SDG Club celebrated *World Environment Day 2026* at *Nature Education Park, Sindhrot* with a special meet uniting students , educators , civic leaders , and sustainability champions for a morning of dialogue and action.

Students from *Baroda High School Danteshwar, English Medium, Afternoon Shift* – *Ms. Hitanshi Shinde, Ms. Harshali Mohite, Ms. Niyati Patel* – actively participated, accompanied by *Vadodara Marathon SDG Coordinator Ms. Anjana Rawat*. Their energy and dedication added value to the cause.

The occasion was graced by notable dignitaries including *Shri Arun Mahesh Babu, IAS*, Municipal Commissioner, VMC (Chief Guest) , *Ms. Tejal Amin*, Chairperson, Vadodara Marathon, *Mr. Sameer Khera*, Co-Chairperson, Vadodara Marathon, *Mr. Pratyush Patankar*, Zoo Curator, Sayajibaug Zoo.

The program included a *heartfelt oath* to protect our environment , followed by a *tree plantation drive* at the park, symbolizing hope for a greener tomorrow.

Together, we reaffirmed the SDG Club’s mission for a sustainable Vadodara through awareness, participation, and action aligned with the *UN Sustainable Development Goals*.
